Simpay is seeking a Payroll Processor who is customer service focused and who has payroll processing experience. Not only does this position compile, review and enter payroll, it also assists customers with their compensation, benefits, and tax inquiries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and focused on delivering consistent, reliable service to our payroll customers.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, reconcile, and maintain payroll data including wages, exemptions, loans, garnishments, vacation time, insurance, leaves of absence, nontaxable wages, and 401(k) deductions.
  • Poll electronic time clocks (Swipeclock software) and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Contact various clients for any missed times, compiling some data via telephone for certain clients.
  • Cross check colleague entries to ensure accuracy of records and data.
  • Prepare and input new hire entries by state.
  • Prepare and issue paychecks.
  • Compile internal management reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions from payroll system software.
  • Serve as the Customer Service Representatives to inbound client calls for service and support relating to products. Assist with scanning, inventory, and projects as necessary for both the payroll and accounting departments.

Requirements

  • Basic payroll knowledge or comparable business work

Work Environment

Our office is located at 1210 Northbrook Drive, Suite 475, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053. The office hours for this position are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some general office tasks are required. This would require the ability to move items, open drawers, and bend or stand as necessary. This role requires the ability to lift, move and carry up to 10 lbs.
