  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Process new hires, terminations and job changes
  • Complete all written and verbal Verification of Employment requests
  • Respond to employees with HRIS questions
  • Process month-end closings and verify accuracy of closing disclosures as needed
  • Complete child-support and medical support orders
  • Assist with maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley compliance


Candidates must display the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Positive attitude with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

Position Summary: The Manager, Payroll oversees team of Payroll Analysts to ensure accurate and timely processing of payment to all LSC employees. Oversees remittance processing of ORP, TDA, garnishment and voluntary deductions to vendors. Serves as Subject Matter Expert for Payroll, Adjunct Pay and Commitment Accounting modules. Job Functions: 1. Review and audit payroll processes and data to validate accuracy for all payrolls 2. Process portions of Semi Monthly and Biweekly payrolls including the uploads of CE pay, Flex Credit, Subsidy Offset, stipends into payroll, Retro Pay and Benefits and Payroll confirm process 3. Test Payroll, Adjunct Pay and Commitment Accounting modules for each bundle application, tax update, upgrade and customization 4. Analyze payroll data and reports in order to provide metrics and information for higher level management and business partners 5. Assist and support Sr. Payroll Manager with determining and implementing strategic and functional goals of the department 6. Transmit all Federal Tax deposits and maintain 941 spread-sheet 7. Provide oversight and review of overpayment analysis and repayment agreements with employees 8. Process high level, confidential and unique payments (i.e. Executive pay, legal settlements, estate payments); Process year-end adjustments 9. Update and maintain Payroll Earnings, General Deduction, Commitment Accounting and Pay Run tables; Create Adjunct Pay Schedule for each semester 10. Assist with training Division Operation Managers and Division Operations Specialists on the Adjunct Pay module; Train new members of the Payroll staff 11.
