  • Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages

  • Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests

  • Exercise review and verification of source documents

  • Guarantee company compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines

  • Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments

  • Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

  • Collect, calculate, and enter relevant data to maintain payroll records

  • Manage issues related to employee deductions and other liabilities, including reconciling

  • Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes

  • Offer assistance with internal and external audits related to payroll

  • Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers

  • Continue employee confidence in payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

  • Handle specific weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for department heads


  • Certified Payroll Professional will be given preference

  • Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Prior experience working with accounting software

  • Payroll systems for 100-500 employees experience

  • Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills

  • Mastery of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements

  • Previous experience handling high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

  • Relevant experience should include 2+ years in payroll

  • Mastery of internal controls

The Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The baseline individual for this role will be entirely comfortable with the Microsoft Windows platform and understand how to support its use for both desktop users as well as running it in a high scale 24x7 production environment. The Windows Systems Administrator is expected to mentor and lead team members in the attainment of knowledge of the Windows environment and desktop support. As well as technical skills and knowledge, this role also requires that the person possesses solid team skills and ethic, is able to communicate well with others and understands the importance of the requirement of providing service to end users. Qualifications: * 5+ years of professional experience in a mixed OS environment IT environment * 5+ years managing Users, Computer environment by using Group Policy and Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Server Maintenance * 1+ years of experience administrating Microsoft O365 or Microsoft Azure is preferred * Solid understanding of authentication tools, authentication technologies, and administration of LDAP environments * Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions in all environments supporting traditional and multi-factor authentication * Familiarity using PowerShell\WMI\VB Scripting is preferred * Virtualization experience with VMWare products and VDI is a plus * Must be able to adapt to a wide variety of duties, including end user support, project deadlines and commitments, data center systems management and monitoring, and many other aspects of IT * Knowledge of software distribution, managed desktop and remote server management tools is required * Must understand networking protocols and be able to diagnose network related problems at the client level Barracuda Networks Campbell CA
