Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Researches unidentified deposits per clinic requests.

Downloads daily bank activity.

Downloads daily credit card activity.

Handles depositing of cash and checks that Athena is unable to deposit. IE: The "pay to" line of the check is blank, or "paid in full" is written on the check.

Downloads monthly bank statements.

Administrator for US Bank Singlepoint and US Bank On-line for all users.

Reconciles deposits to bank activity for REAP and Timberland tables.

Oversees internal AP Process for clinic approved refunds, utilizing report to ensure no duplicate checks are issued.

Verifies denied refunds are removed from file before uploading to HMS

Resolves all rejected files from AP process

Ensures uploaded approvals are paid and processed by AP

Balances paid refund check files to Athena to ensure all checks are posted

Researches all unposted refund checks

Manually enters unpostable checks

Primary contact for refund check status

Assists team lead with researching returned refund checks.

Knowledge of banking practices and office procedures.

Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness. Ability to prepare daily work according to detailed instructions. Ability to work effectively with co-workers as a team member. Ability to communicate clearly.

Education and/or Experience Preferred: Associates Degree in Accounting or other business related field (bookkeeping.) Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualified candidates will have 2 years of relevant experience, including performance of accounting tasks related to the financial close process, bank reconciliation and analysis, and proficient MS Excel experience. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of general computer applications and practice management systems.
