Family Engagement Specialist: Pattison's Academy is seeking passionate individuals who want to make a positive impact in the community. In our collaborative and team focused environment, individuals will have the opportunity to learn about, educate others on, and take action towards Pattison's Academy's mission: Improve the quality of life for children with multiple, severe disabilities and their families. These individuals will be the pioneers for piloting the state of South Carolina's first Multiple Disabilities Program. Regardless of your knowledge or experience, if you have interests and strengths in relationship building, event planning, public speaking, and/or program coordination, or have career aspirations in communications, social services, or education, the Family Engagement Specialist position may be the fit for you! Member duties will include: - Developing and fostering relationships with families and Pattison's Academy staff

• Act as the liaison between families and staff

• Provide families with informational programming, resources, training and event opportunities

• Create family and community newsletters and information updates
