Work at homecreating apparel and promo product templates and tech packs for these items. This will entail making measurements, improving digital asset libraries, managing guidelines specific to imported goods, and continually improving our importing process. If you're into custom shirts & swag this is for you!


Do you love apparel and swag...and using your sweet technical skills to build out said items? Are you way into the details and skilled in Adobe Illustrator, with an eye for trends and fashion, colors and fabrics? Are you based inUtah, Ohio or Arizona? We're looking for aTechnical Designer/Pattern Maker. You'll be a crucial piece in our constant goal of making the best shirts & swag ever.


  • Build out detailed templates for importing related items, ensuring the accuracy of details

  • Generate complete and detailed technical packages as needed for factories. Responsible for patterns, providing all measurements and constructional information

  • Build out a library of assets for internal design team that are on trend and accurately sized for existing templates, keep asset library up to date

  • Creation and management of guidelines for fabrics, standards, materials as needed

  • Communicate across teams to share new ideas, brainstorm trends, receive feedback from team members about templating, share ideas and information based on industry research

  • Collaborate with design team to ensure the design direction is clear and achievable

  • Work with Art Director and Import Manager to review proofs and provide necessary signoff

  • Review proofs for technical accuracy, while continuing to improve our templates as we go

  • Communicates potential issues in product development and deadlines and proactively looks for ways to resolve problems

  • Pro-actively research trends and the retail market


  • At least 1 year of experience in apparel or technical design

  • An understanding of apparel construction, material construction and properties related to fit

  • Solid working knowledge of textiles and experience creating tech packs

  • Expertise in the following: Textiles, pattern creation, grading, construction & pattern terminology

  • Patternmaking and grading experience

  • Understanding of production timelines, equipment and garment construction options

  • Bonus:Experience working with factories and know how to bridge the communication gap

  • Bonus:Experienced with sewing different styles of garments, stitch types

  • Proficient in MS Suite, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ability to build technical sketches in Illustrator

  • Portfolio of work

  • Bachelor's Degree in apparel/fashion related program with technical/patternmaking emphasis or equivalent training combined with work experience
