We are currently looking for a qualified PRN Patient Transport Driver to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. This position provides patient transportation to or from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times.
Travel will include local and long distance travel to pickup patients being admitted to the hospital, transporting patients discharging from the hospital and for local program activities. Long distance travel will include Florida airports and military bases within Florida or neighboring states.
Education: High school graduate or equivalency preferred.
Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience in patient transport preferred
License/Certification: Maintain a valid class specific driver's license applicable to transporting patients. Driving record must meet or exceed the facility standards.
