Patient Svcs Specialist II Heart & Vascular Full-Time

We're looking for someone with prior scheduling experience in a clinical setting. CNA/MA experience is preferred. This position is specific to Dr. Law's schedule. GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

• Provide patients and staff with professional and friendly assistance.

• Be the liaison between Dr. Laws, and other providers, clinical staff, Cath lab, Glenwood clinic and all outreach clinics.

• Balance providing incredible customer service while optimizing resources.

• Screen staff calls, handling in a positive and appropriate manner.

• Maintain patient charts in an accurate manner.

• Crosstrain in CNA/MA role.

• Provide occasional clinic assistance with rooming patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent.

• Current BLS Certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.

• Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR's), within 30 days of hire or a current CO CNA License or current RMA/CMA Certification.

Skills:

• Clerical: typing filing, scheduling, computer, phone and people skills

• Excellent customer service skills; strong computer skills

• Previous CNA/MA experience.

Experience:

• Two years in a reception/clerical/medical field.

SALARY RANGE

• $20.00 to $28.87 /hour

• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
