As a Full Time Patient Support Specialist

• Weekend Package Days at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch patient care to individuals of all ages. Working under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, you will assist patients with daily activities and provide essential nursing care within your practice scope. Your friendly demeanor will be key as you warmly greet and assist hospital patients, visitors, and callers while upholding the professional image of our facility.

Operating the 2nd-floor switchboard, you will efficiently manage incoming calls and provide clerical support to various departments, including handling admissions, registrations, and data transcription. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our patients and contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

To excel as a Full Time Patient Support Specialist

• Weekend Package Days at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, candidates must possess essential skills and qualifications. This includes holding a current Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, License Practical Nurse License, or EMT License, alongside Basic Life Saving Certification. While 1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred, individuals with strong medical terminology knowledge will also thrive in this role. Excellent customer service, organizational abilities, and effective communication skills are paramount for success in collaborating with teams and interdepartmental stakeholders. The ability to navigate software and tools specific to healthcare operations is crucial for delivering quality patient care and ensuring efficient hospital workflows.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Must have current Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate

• License Practical Nurse License or EMT License.

• Must have Basic Life Saving Certification

• 1-2 years healthcare experience preferred
