WORK SCHEDULE

40 hours per week, Day Shift

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Primary point of contact for individuals entering a lobby in select buildings on the Harborview campus

The individual represents Harborview and UW Medicine in a manner that welcomes people and reflects a strong sense of excellence with regards to both the care that we provide and the experience that can be expected

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the lobby to ensure that patients, visitors, and staff are able to enter, navigate, and access areas as is intended

Respond to patient and visitor requests and provide directions to specified areas such as clinics, meeting rooms, eating facilities, and other buildings

Communicate information on hospital programs to patients, visitors and staff

Respond to questions and concerns about parking; assist with payments, navigating garages, side streets and the Harborview campus

Triage telephone calls and requests for information

Support communication strategies such as distributing flyers and announcements; work in coordination with Security Services, Parking and Commuter Services, the Safety Officer, and other related departments

Assigned building may vary; provide relief to similar position(s)

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR equivalent education/experience
