This position is responsible for answering patient calls and researching and resolving issues in order to receive maximum profitability for clients. Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary.
1.Answer patient carrier calls in a professional, courteous manner by researching and resolving any issues 60
2.Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management 15
3.Train others and/or QA work of other PSRs 15
4.Other duties as assigned by management, including special projects 10
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Healthcare and/or Insurance billing or processing and customer service preferred.
Previous customer service experience
Emergency Medicine professional billing experience
NOTE: Required Working Hours: 11am-8pm
Ability to train others and answer questions of co-workers if needed.
Education/Training High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
