Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 for University Hospitals

• Cleveland Medical Center located in Cleveland, OH. In this role you report to the Operations Manager and will support the busy patient meal services operation on the Seidman Cancer Center part of campus. The hours are approximately 11:30am-9:30pm, and include one weekend rotation per month.

This position includes free parking as well as a monthly meal allowance for employees.

The successful candidate will:

• oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program (At Your Request)
• handle daily patient meal rounding utilizing Experiencia, interacting with patients and Nursing staff to develop and enhance interdepartmental relationships
• collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience
• perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation and tray accuracy
• maintain effective communication with patients and families to ensure high satisfaction level
• ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

• prior management experience, preferably working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets preferably
• demonstrated experience with multi-tasking, and dealing effectively with changing priorities
• worked in a food production setting, a healthcare environment would be a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience

• 2 years

Basic Functional Experience

• 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
