Sodexo is hiring for a Patient Services Manager 2 at Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. In this role you will report to the Food Operations Manager and be a part of a 7 person manager team within Sodexo at this account, and including an overall team of a little over 50 hospital employees among the Food Service and Nutrition teams. The hours for this role are primarily Monday

• Friday and mostly p.m. hours, however this individual will need the flexibility to also do rotational weekend and/or a.m. coverage as needed

Winchester Hospital is a 200 bed acute care facility offering top of the line patient care. As the Patient service Manager you will oversee about 20 employees, patient roundings, work with the food and nutrition team on dietary needs on site. We are looking for a dynamic leader to add to our nutrition team. Are you the one?

In this role you will:

• implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve patient satisfaction
• oversee the patient dining program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery
• perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation and tray accuracy
• manage scheduling and payroll for the team
• interact with patients and the nursing staff
• handle inventory and ordering
• manage customer service training for our front-line staff
• conduct patient ready room inspections and patient surveys

We are seeking candidates who have:

• strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards
• experience in a food production setting, healthcare environment would be a plus
• 2 years of management experience preferred
• passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily
• knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience

• 2 years

Basic Functional Experience

• 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
