Patient Service Representative

Position Summary Practice patient service rep. #proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments. Position Requirements Education and Previous Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.# Some college preferred. Hardware/Software Experience Practice management/medical billing computer programs.# Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) Other Characteristics Excellent oral/written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Detailed oriented Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections) Flexible; able to adapt to change Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus
