Maine Medical Partners Scarborough Family Medicine is seeking a friendly and highly motivated Patient Service Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate excels in a busy primary care practice setting and has the proven ability to prioritize competing tasks.

Position Summary The Patient Service Representative (PSR) greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answers#incoming telephone calls, schedules appointments, and performs other overall general office duties as assigned. The PSR collects, verifies, enters, and monitors patient data while complying with the federal, state and MaineHealth confidentiality policies. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience:

Previous office experience with medical office experience helpful. Knowledge and skills in using office equipment. Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone. Strong computer skills.

Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal direct supervision.

We have 10 Operating room#s, 11 Pre-op rooms, 20 PACU/ASU rooms and 6-7 Inpatient rooms. We offer shifts which vary from 8#or 10 hour during the day, and 12hour for nights.###We are currently seeking PACU trained RN#s to join our team. Position Summary The Clinical Nurse supports Maine Medical Center#s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family centered care, commitment to our community, and accountability.# In accordance with national standards of nursing practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both Maine Medical Center and the Maine State Board of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care.# Care delivery and coordination of patient and family care begins with the initial contact with the health care system and may continue across the continuum.# Services may be provided on an inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and/or community basis. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Maine. Demonstrated competency in applying evidence based knowledge, theory, practices, principles, and processes of professional nursing. A bachelor of science degree in Nursing is preferred. Must matriculate to a BSN program within one year of hire with completion attained within 5 years of hire. Completion of level I.# PACU RN#experience is required, Adult and pediatric. Evidence of 10 hours of ongoing education per year. Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and health care team members. Ability to identify potential crisis situations involving patients and/or families and to initiate appropriate action.
