Patient Service Representative - Float

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our Registration. This person will greet, assist, and provide excellent customer service for our patients checking in for appointments.

Location: This is a float position and will support various locations as needed.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week): Monday through Friday varying 8-hour shifts. schedule times can be as early as 5:30am. Training hours typically M-F 8am to 5pm.

Compensation: minimum is $17.60, hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience. Evening differential of $2.00/hour for hours worked after 5:30pm.

Position Summary: The PSR is the first point of contact for patients and visitors as they arrive at our clinic locations. Primary function is providing excellent customer service at patient reception for appointments, collecting co-pays and account balances, appointment scheduling, answering phone inquiries, and other medical office support duties in a courteous and efficient manner.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.

• Experience with Epic preferred.

• Excellent phone skills and customer service behaviors.

• Strong computer keyboarding skills required.

Pay Range:

$16.48 - $23.07

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years.

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked. Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule. Contact your recruiter for more information.
