Responsible for receptionist duties including greeting patients and directing phone calls. Also responsible for patient registration and appointment scheduling, including verification of all patient demographic and insurance information.
Responsible for charging and collecting patient copays and fees. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Experience: Experience with computer programs, cash reports, registration process, medical office programs, operation of office equipment, experience handling money and cashiering functions.
Must be familiar with medical office terminology and medical record keeping. Min of 1 yr of medical office experience preferred.
Required Education: High School diploma
