A front desk team member who answers phones, schedules patients, collects co-payments, greets patients and performs record filing (entry level admin team member).

Essential responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette.

  • Check patients in and out.

  • Schedule/confirm patient appointments.

  • Perform all necessary paperwork (i.e. patient charts, referrals, appointment cards, welcome packets and treatment plan forms).

  • Collect all co-payments and past due balances on date of service.

  • Present financial policies and arrangements accurately to patients.

  • Facilitate effective patient flow using the proper callback system.

  • Identify, reference and apply insurance coverage and billing.

  • Perform basic computer functions.

  • Act in a professional manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Six months of similar job experience.

  • Demonstrate ability to assume Patient Services Representative's essential responsibilities.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of effective scheduling.

  • Comply with protocols and standards.

  • Demonstrate and promote superior customer service skills.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Exercise basic knowledge of dental terminology.

  • Support corporate vision and strategy.

Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories: Project Management / Organization Skills * Reports to the Manager - Supplier Risk Assessments within Enterprise Supply Chain organization * Assign assessment volumes in queue, escalate as appropriate, and draft status reports across supplier assessments, due diligence activities and ongoing monitoring * Develop status reports for supplier assessments, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring activities and share with appropriate groups * Raise escalations, risk and issues, track action items and review dependencies * Schedule / coordinate on-site assessments. Operational Effectiveness / Process Excellence * Execute supplier risk assessment scheduling and reporting process with responsibilities to meet or exceed performance objectives, operational plans, and career development * Manage the assessment schedule in line with enterprise requirements including conducting evidence-based control validations across all risk domains * Work closely with risk assessors, suppliers, business partners, and due diligence personnel to ensure coordination of activities * Work with suppliers and business units to ensure assessments are scheduled and executed according to plan and escalating as needed Risk Knowledge * Experience in supplier risk management and assessment space, including understanding of risk standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27000, SIG, etc.) is a big plus * Experience in coordinating / organizing various complex steps in an end-to-end process including potentially on-site and desktop (remote) supplier risk assessments * Building expertise of yourself to drive best-in-class performance in the supplier risk space Qualifications * Demonstrate and apply an understanding of supplier risk management, with knowledge of information security, data protection, and other key operational risks associated with procurement * Manage concurrent supplier assessment reports and related tasks with tight deliverables and a strong attention to detail * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (including listening, written and oral communication), work well in a team environment, able to work in diverse environments, and adhere to highest ethical standards * Manage challenging stakeholders * Analytical, communication, and organizational skills Keys to Success in this Role * Project management / scheduling skills (PMP or PMO certification a plus) * Ability to work with and collaborate across teams manage assessment and reporting processes * Continuous improvement mindset that looks for ways to make things better and simplify / standardize steps plus eliminate non-value-added work Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
