To accurately check patients in and out by verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining patient records and accounts. Maintain patient flow. Provide positive patient relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the clinic for opening each day by reviewing the facility, opening all systems applications, and preparing new patient registration packets and required documents

  • Greet patients, provide patients initial paperwork, and obtain copies of insurance and identification cards.

  • Register patients, update patient records, and verify insurance accurately and timely

  • Follow company procedures related to workers compensation and occupational medicine patients

  • Determine, collect and process patient payments and address collection and billing issues

  • Discharge patients accurately and timely by collecting balances, providing patient documentation, and following discharge procedures

  • Respond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requests

  • Balance daily patient charges (cash, check, credit cards) against system reports

  • Complete closing procedures by preparing closing documentation and submitting required reports

  • Prepare, sign, and drop the deposit in the safe on a nightly basis

  • Complete cash control procedures and secure financial assets

  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.

  • Maintain office supplies

  • Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environment

  • Report potentially unsafe conditions to management

  • Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


High School Diploma or GED required. Previous medical clerical experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge, e.g., Microsoft Office. Accuracy and detail orientation. Positive customer service skills. Well-groomed appearance. Clear and articulate phone voice. Tactful interpersonal relationships.

Compiles all customer required PPAP documentation in customer specified format for review, submission and approval. Maintains and updates customer websites for timing and required deliverables. Initiates and lead a cross-functional team and effectively communicates with all those who are involved in the implementation scheme. Efficient and effective participation in team meetings, drives project team towards timely decisions, and ensures all project communications occur in accordance with the project communication plan. Analyzes project metrics and performs comprehensive risk management activities at defined and appropriate times in accordance with best practices to identify, assess, mitigate and plan for potential risks to the project. Creates and maintains detailed schedules using Microsoft Project / similiar and other tools, to monitor PPAP progress and status against schedules. Trains and coaches others in APQP / PPAP techniques and in the use of scientific approaches including statistical tools Act as Customer liaison. Communicate PPAP plans and actions to the customer using the customer or Federal-Mogul applicable method. Communicate to plant personnel of quality product and process related issues, as well as promote quality awareness throughout the manufacturing facility. Active participation on Internal, Customer and ISO TS/16949 Audits.Quality planning, assurance and implementation associated with engineering changes (ECRs). May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent a violation of the Federal-Mogul Integrity Policy. Other miscellaneous assignments including Quality Engineer duties REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in related field or 5+ years experience in quality related field To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have ISO/TS 16949 and with auto industry customer approval processes (AIAG, APQP, PPAP, PSW). Must be team-oriented, with proven leadership ability. A thorough understanding of advanced SPC, D.O.E.'s, FMEA's, Control Plans, Process/Product capability analysis, and Specific Customer Requirements. Minitab Statistical Software and Microsofot Project preferred but not required. Must have strong interpersonal skills to work well with customers and other engineers and operators.
