Responsible for timely and accurate patient registrations for all patient types. Interviews patients for all pertinent account information and verifies insurance coverage.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous clerical experience is desired. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desired.

Skills:

Computer skills and typing skills are required.

Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 20 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
