Job Description

Clinic Location: 7111 Medical Center Drive Suite 200 Texas City, TX 77591

As a Patient Reception Supervisor, you will facilitate day-to-day front office operations within the practice, including managing patient and staff interactions and maintaining a service-based approach to issue resolution. Partnering with the Practice Manager and/or Practice Administrator within the clinic to promote the highest standards of quality of patient care by appropriately managing patient flow. Will provide support and training to staff, to encourage their abilities to effectively address our patients' needs and outcomes.

How You Will Get Things Done:

  • Develop and implement staffing plan for shifts based on patient acuity, patient census, and available staff

  • Conduct clinical staff meetings and huddles

  • Ensure appropriate orientation of new employees and ongoing training and development of staff to meet changing needs and organizational demands

  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and hiring process for Patient Reception Specialist roles

How You Will Build Trust:

  • Demonstrate kindness and compassion in all patient interactions

  • Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical issues that may arise with patient scheduling or verification

  • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to staff

How You Will Innovate:

  • Promote staff education opportunities and coordinate training.

  • Serve as a champion to assist staff with interpreting organizational and clinical changes in a positive manner

EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE CHANGE

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency required

  • 5 years of experience in a Primary care setting

  • 1 year of leadership experience
