Patient Care Coordinator/Tech Aide

We invite you to join our San Gabriel Valley-Arcadia team as a Patient Flow Coordinator. Growth and learning opportunity available for a caring professional that wants to further develop their skills and knowledge in healthcare, while making a difference in patient's lives. This Full Time medical back office career opportunity has a Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm schedule, and is located at our outpatient practice in Arcadia, CA. In this technologist assistant position you'll get to:

  • Call doctors' office for labs on patients and request priors if needed.

  • Confirm patient appointments.

  • Ensure that equipment and tools are sterilized in each department before every patient exam.

  • Perform patient registration and insurance verification, and collect co-pays.

  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.

  • Assist patients with their paper work when necessary.

  • Verify patient identity correctly by adhering to appropriate Company policies.

  • If needed give patients oral contrast as indicated by exam.

  • Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.

  • Assist technologists with patients

  • May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.

  • Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with a High School Diploma, computer skills, the ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office work experience are preferred.
