Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Hybrid after 90 days.

Seeking a Dedicated Patient Financial Services Manager to oversee the Registration, Eligibility & Benefit Estimation segment of our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The ideal candidate will coordinate and optimize vendor registration operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and achieving financial efficiency and patient satisfaction.The Patient Financial Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tasks assigned to the revenue cycle department staff. The Patient Financial Services Manager responsibilities include identifying patient reimbursement issues, ensuring that claims, denials, and appeals are efficiently processed and resolving billing-related issues. You should also be able to assist and understand coding diagnosis and procedures correctly. To be successful in this role you should be able to manage both staff and process workflows.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the revenue cycle team in various duties, such as account management, communications with insurance providers, collections, cash posting, contract analysis, and billing.

  • Supporting collection operations and efforts to recover overdue amounts on patient balances.

  • Managing staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.

  • Overseeing the hiring and training of staff.

  • Planning and structuring the department workflow and staffing.

  • Correctly coding diagnoses and procedures.

  • Providing guidance to team members and addressing performance issues if any arise

  • Developing and implementing training programs for new hires to ensure that they are fully prepared for their jobs.

  • Conducting regular meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction with service standards.

  • Analyzing data to identify trends in customer needs or behavior patterns that may require changes to business processes.

  • Developing and implementing new processes or procedures to improve efficiency or quality of service.

  • Coordinating with other departments such as marketing, sales, or human resources to ensure that customers receive appropriate attention.

  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

The Experiences You Bring

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Level of Education: 3 years or more of experience in Financial services and RCM space with experience including Registration, Eligibility & Benefit Estimation Healthcare field for large multi-specialty group practice.

Years of Experience: 3+ years

Describe Type of Experience

  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes, especially patient registration, eligibility, benefit estimation and compliance requirements.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and software.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems-preferably Epic
