The Patient Experience Advisor acts as an internal advocate and resource to drive excellence in the patient experience. This position will support, coordinate and evaluate the Baptist Health Care Patient Experience Program. This position will serve as a business partner with administrative and clinical leadership in the interpretation of patient experience reports, as well as the development and implementation of action plans.
The Patient Experience Advisory will be a passionate advocate and able to effectively relate patient experience to patient safety, patient outcomes and BHC's mission to help people throughout life's journey. The advisor will act as an analyst, facilitator, trainer, communicator, researcher, advocate and ultimately an advisor for patient experience. The advisor will be a resource to leaders throughout the organization as they pursue their own excellence in patient experience. The advisor will likewise actively review our satisfaction data and recommend priorities and actions to our leadership team.
Bachelor's Degree in Health, Statistics or Business related field. Three (3) years' leadership or quality experience either in a hospital or physician practice setting.
Computer Skills, including MS Office Professional Suite skills, specifically including Excel, Power Point, and Visio
Ability to present and explain complex materials in a professional manner
Demonstrated performance in project management, process improvement and project implementation
Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate data
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment, with good communication skills, supportive attitude and ability to provide mentorship
