EyeCare Partners is currently seeking a Trainer in our Patient Engagement Center to deliver learning curriculums and programs that include new hire and skill enhancement training.
As a trainer you will report directly to the training manager, but will work with other supervisors, managers and teams to drive overall team success in all aspects of the Engagement Center. You will work with different training systems and curriculums to develop and implement a variety of required training techniques.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods to develop participants' skill sets. This includes Classroom Instruction, Virtual Training, Team Meeting Trainings, Conference Calls, Train the Trainer sessions, On-line Learning, Hands-on workshops and Peer to Peer Coaching.
Supervise employees during training. This includes, acting as a role model for the core competences, skills and behaviors of a company leader, tracking attendance, addressing inappropriate behavior and documenting performance, as well as both strengths and development needs.
Perform all administrative duties associated with conducting training. This includes, conducting all pre-training prep work, administering learning schedules and calendars, maintaining participant records (e.g., test scores, evaluations and attendance), completing all Sum Total prerequisite requirements and post-training duties and ensuring learning is evaluated with post-training surveys.
Exhibit a commitment to Continuous Learning. This includes, pursuing development activities and opportunities to obtain additional expertise and strengthen core skills, building and improving job-related knowledge and leadership skills; seeking feedback from others and maintaining focus to continue the learning cycle.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Perform other duties as requested by manager.
Requirements:
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of training and/or work experience.
One-year prior presentation or training delivery experience.
Experience with Articulate Storyline, Vyond (Go-Animate) or similar e-learning tools is preferred.
Three years' experience or equivalent in the functional area and or business unit. i.e. Call Center, Sales and Service Centers, Field Operations, Customer Service, Billing.
Meet functional specific training or equivalent certification requirements.
Subject matter expert for Patient Engagement Center processes and procedures of Operations for a Patient Advocate preferred.
Lifting and transporting training equipment and setting up classrooms
On feet up to eight (8) hours/day in training
Exposure to moderate noise levels
Answer phone calls at time of extremely high volume.
Identify process improvement opportunities which will improve the employee and patient experience
Be professional, respectful, and courteous to coworkers.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Dress appropriately and practice good hygiene.
Teamwork, flexibility, reliability, and mentoring skills are required
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize work with excellent follow up skills required.
Pleasant, friendly, professional manner, customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to sit for an extended period of time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 7:00 am to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday's. Must work 40 hours each week to maintain full time status. Considering that this is an exempt position you might need to work other hours as needed.
