Patient Care Technician

Responsibilities Delivers patient care by performing specialized interventions, straightens belongings, participates in Quality Assurance activities, orients patients and families, performs technical procedures, collects specimens and data, maintains a clean and safe environment, utilizes unit equipment, and assists others in unit activities. Requirements High School Diploma and two years of experience in health care delivery in positions such as:

Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, EMT, Medic/Corps Person; or two clinical semesters completed as a Nursing Student; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
