Patient Care Technician at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Centennial:

• The Patient Care Technician will interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center

• Performs clerical duties including distribution of messages

• Performs clinical duties, under the direction of an RN or LVN, including assisting patients to the restroom, removing IV catheters, etc.

• Cleans rooms if needed

• Assists RNs as instructed

• Any other duties as instructed by supervisor

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT), Medical Assistant Certification (MA), or equivalent

• BLS Required
