Patient Care Technician Ortho Neuro Full Time Days

Summary

The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT's and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required: BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association.

• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program and Florida-issued license/certificate or completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program
