Patient Care Technician Full Time Days

Up to $3,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience

Position Summary:

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant with acute care experience.

This is a blended job of Certified Nurse Assistant and Unit Secretary (Health Unit Coordinator), providing both patient care assistance and unit clerical support. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Performs general clerical duties on a nursing unit by preparing, compiling, and maintaining records in a hospital nursing unit.

• Providing direct care to patients during your shift.

• Continuously improving your clinical competencies through continuing education.

• Delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of other staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold current certified nursing assistant licensure in the State of Florida or compact state.

• Must have current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Other Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills are necessary.
