Job Schedule: Part Time
Standard Hours: 36
Job Shift: Shift 3
Shift Details: Nights (7p-7a) Every other weekend/holiday.

On the Shea unit, our team of professionals provides skilled, compassionate care to our patients in a specialized, multi-level, inpatient unit. Our main 30-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit is the core of our department with additional beds for step-down/PCU and orthopedic patients. We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team who are proud to serve our community.
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of an RN or his/her designee, the Patient Care Technician will assist the RN in providing direct care to patients according to age specific needs.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required
State of CT Certified Nurses Aid Certificate or presently enrolled in a Registered Nurse program having completed one semester of a clinical rotation.
BLS certification required or completion within the first three months of employment.
