A ward secretary is a non-licensed person who performs clerical, receptionist and related duties on the senior care unit under the direction of a registered nurse.# A Clinical Technician performs various duties to assist with the provision of patient care.# These duties are performed within the parameters of the Clinical Technician Job Description and Performance Standards, under the direction of the Registered Nurse. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate with the ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology Age 18 or older.

Successful completion of nurse aide state testing required. Currently certified in CPR/BLS, or able to successfully complete CPR/BLS certification through American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Successful completion of the Clinical Tech orientation program.

Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system) Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned. Crisis Intervention and De-Escalation (CIDE) certification within three months of hire.
