We are looking for a Full-Time Patient Care Techs / Nursing Assistants / Bus Aides at our Crestview, FL location. Responsibilities include handling and caring for special needs children in a manner conductive to their safety and comfort under the direction of licensed nurses.Education and Training:
(1) Must have one year experience in care of infants and toddlers, or related experience such as medical technician training or emergency medical technician.
(2) Annual Pediatric CPR certificationExamples of Specific Duties and Responsibilities:(1) Direct patient care such as baths, oral hygiene, combing hair, diaper changes, dressing patients, preparing and feeding patient meals, and positioning.
(2) Infection control duties such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning patient supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
(3) Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake & output measurements.
(4) Lead patient developmental activities. Supervise children at play.
(5) Supervision for, and care of, patients while on transport.

Serves as initial patient contact with patients presenting for mammography procedures; preparing patient and appropriate paperwork. Assist staff with keeping up to date and accurate records in the Mammography Tracking system. Prints and distributes patient and physician letters within the required time frame allowed by the FDA/MQSA. Keeps track of follow up procedures, i.e. additional views, breast ultrasound, MRI Breast, and biopsy procedures. Documents all pathology findings and tracks follow up. Requests and receives outside breast images and uploads into the PACS system to ensure timeliness of interpretation. Supports Mammography Technologist in providing quality and expedient patient care to patients presenting for care in the Mammography Department. Assists Mammography Technologist with quality assurance/control functions. Must know and perform all clerical/administrative support duties associated within the Department. Maintains appropriate records accurately; monitors patient schedule to ensure timeliness; assists to attain the goal of the provision of high quality diagnostic imaging services to all customers. Ensures all mammography supplies are ordered on a weekly basis. Assist Mammography staff with keeping up to date and accurate records in the Mammography Tracking system. Enters all data in a timely manner. Prints and distributes patient and physician letters within the required time frame allowed by the FDA/MQSA. Keeps track of follow up procedures, i.e. additional views, breast ultrasound, MRI Breast, and biopsy procedures. Documents all pathology findings and tracks follow up. Requests and receives outside breast images and uploads into the PACS system to ensure timeliness of interpretation.
