Patient Care Services Scheduling Coordinator

Responsible for the staffing and scheduling of all Sturdy Memorial Hospital nursing staff and agency utilization. Maintains scheduling and payroll software and is the designated super-user. Ensures accurate payroll completion of the float pool, resource coordinators and nursing administrative staff. Ensures accurate and adequate staffing coverage on all nursing units. Maintains a variety of records including vacation, earned time, absentee, traveler, and observer information; assists in the creation and maintaining of various budgetary reports including census, patient observer and other reports as assigned. Completes weekly billing charges for the Psychiatric Clinical Specialists. Serves as the Functional System Administrator for the API/GE staffing system as well as the Authorization system administrator.

Education/Training:

• Associate degree in a related field required or equivalent experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

• N/A

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of administrative experience with high level of personnel contact and/or hospital or industrial staffing scheduling experience.

• Expert Working knowledge and building capability of API and staffing /scheduling software and payroll software is required

• Staffing and scheduling of all Nursing Personnel
