We are looking for a PRN Patient Care Representative. This position will support the daily activities of ETSU's College of Nursing Mountain City Extended Hours Clinic. Responsibilities include:

• Answers incoming calls, determines the purpose of callers, takes messages and delivers them electronically, or transfers calls to appropriate personnel.

• Maintains and builds provider schedules and enters appointments into a computerized scheduler accurately.

• Completes appointment reminder calls.

• Receives, sorts, and routes mail; retrieves and routes incoming faxes.

• Completes insurance verification and eligibility requests.

• Scans documents and imports them into the electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of clerical, administrative, and/or customer service work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting (may consider relevant part-time and/or student worker experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records.
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare office setting.
