Patient Care Director - Hospice

As an affiliate of New York Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care you will have the opportunity to work with experienced NYP, Columbia, and Cornell Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners as you care for patients throughout Westchester and Bronx County. Recently posted Jansen Hospice patients and NYP employee satisfaction scores are at record highs.
Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care (JHPC) has an interdisciplinary team of a Medical Director, nurses, social workers, Home Health aides, and Chaplains who work together to care for families and terminally ill patients.
We're seeking a transformational leader at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester to inspire quality across all aspects of patient care and drive the success of our Hospice Care Team.
Assumes responsibility and provides leadership and direction for quality improvement activities of Certified Hospice agency including, regulatory compliance with State, Federal, and Joint Commission, consistent with the overall mission and policies of the organization. Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for certified hospice Agencies. Works closely with the Administrative Director, clinical nurse manager, other management staff, and the Board to facilitate program development and implementation.

This is a full-time day-shift opportunity. This position is located at Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care, a Certified Hospice agency.
Preferred Criteria
American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification
Leadership experience
Required Criteria
Master's Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Master's Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing.
A minimum of three years of clinical experience
Current NYS RN Licensure
Demonstrated leadership competencies
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

Salary Range:
$150,000-$185,000/Annual
