We seek a Full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Louisville, Kentucky location.

The responsibilities of this position will include screening and directing calls, checking voicemails, scheduling appointments, appointment reminder calls, sending patient paperwork via mail or portal, requesting and sending medical records, collecting/posting patient payments, contacting physician referrals, sending patient insurance information for verification and cost estimates, scan patient documents into EHR, coordinate in-patient hospital referrals with clinicians, patient care and sort mail. Assist other administrative staff and clinical staff with duties as needed.

Schedule: Monday

• Thursday 9:00 am

• 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am

• 2:00 pm

Compensation: $15.00 - 16.50 per hour

Experience & Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

• Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

• Ability to work a multiline phone system

• Reliability and Professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls

• Gather patient information and schedule appointments.

• Maintain appointment calendar electronically.

• Provide information to callers about insurance and benefits.

• Speak to patients regarding money and financial arrangements.

• Greet persons entering the office and check them in.

• Maintain knowledge of staff movements in and out of the office
