The Patient Care Coordinator answers calls for 5 offices - Knowledge of where to direct the caller - assist caller with all requests in timely, efficient manner - schedule appointments - send detailed messages to offices- communicate with nurses, clinicians, managers, hospitals, pharmacies, and labs - read, monitor and maintain clinicians' schedules - work recall lists daily
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer all calls in a prompt, professional and polite manner
Work closely with other team members in providing outstanding customer service clinically
Detail oriented and patient focused
Must have the ability to listen and understand the caller's request in order to provide an accurate and efficient response
Must be reliable, punctual, job knowledgeable and adaptable to change
Regular and prompt attendance is expected and required.
