Description:

The Patient Care Coordinator answers calls for 5 offices - Knowledge of where to direct the caller - assist caller with all requests in timely, efficient manner - schedule appointments - send detailed messages to offices- communicate with nurses, clinicians, managers, hospitals, pharmacies, and labs - read, monitor and maintain clinicians' schedules - work recall lists daily

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer all calls in a prompt, professional and polite manner

  • Work closely with other team members in providing outstanding customer service clinically

  • Detail oriented and patient focused

  • Must have the ability to listen and understand the caller's request in order to provide an accurate and efficient response

  • Must be reliable, punctual, job knowledgeable and adaptable to change

  • Regular and prompt attendance is expected and required.

Skills:

EMR, patient registration, medical terminology, ehr, pediatric, Health care, health care support, telephone customer service, telephone answering

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Great interpersonal skills and communication skills

  • Positive attitude

  • Great attendance

  • Staying on task and ability for high workload
