The Opportunity: Patient Care Associate - Orthopaedic and Urology Unit- Ellison 6
Why This Role Is Important?
Ellison 6 is a 36-bed unit with the clinical specialty being orthopaedics and urology. The population of patients includes total joint replacements, trauma, and orthopaedic oncology. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. Ellison 6 is seeking a full-time PCA, rotating day/evening shifts. There is a weekend and holiday shift requirement.

Day (7a-3p, 7a-7p), Evenings (3-11pm)
40 hours per week
Rotating holiday and weekend requirement

Preferred: Associate degree; 1-year clinical experience
Required: High School diploma or GED required; Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience; Computer skills necessary (word, excel, and ability to learn MGH systems)
