Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a Patient Care Assistant to:
Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in providing everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
Provide quality care in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.
Assist in the delivery of health care services and patient care support.
Prepare patients for examination, treatment and procedures and perform selected patient care duties following department procedures under the supervision of Clinic Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician.
Order, maintain and replenish exam and treatment rooms with medical and office supplies, instruments, equipment and pharmacological items, maintaining a neat and clean environment.
Perform general receptionist and clerical duties for department.
Previous patient care experience in a medical facility preferred.
Minimum of one year experience working as a CNA in a clinic setting preferred.
Good interpersonal, organizational and critical decision-making skills required.
Ability to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Computer experience required.
Basic arithmetic skills required.
Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
Licenses and Certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician preferred.
Annual CPR certification required.
