Front Door Screener/Patient Advocate
Do you have great customer service skills? Do you enjoy helping people? St. Lukes Cataract & Laser Institute is looking to hire a part - time (five days a week Monday - Friday, 25 hours a week) Screener/Patient Advocate at our Villages location.
The Screener is responsible for overseeing the arrival of all patients, employees and visitors to the St. Lukes Office. The screener will be the first point of contact and communication upon arrival and will be responsible for assisting the patients with check-in. This position is responsible for taking temperatures and asking a series of screening questions before allowing guests to enter the building. (PPE will be provided)

Demonstrates discretion, judgment, and confidentiality
Previous experience in patient care and/or customer service
Physical agility to move around the facility throughout the day
Ability to stand or sit outside (under shade if needed) to assist patients with check-in
Ability to take patient temperatures and ask a series of screening questions before entering the building while maintaining confidential information
