The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Patient Accounts Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and technical duties related to managing patient accounts.

This position has three (3) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School graduate; OR GED.

  • One (1) year of clerical experience working in health care organization or in a position that requires understanding and application of basic accounting principles is required.

Additional Qualifications for Patient Accounts Specialist II: Meets all requirements of Patient Accounts Specialist I in addition to the following:

  • Two (2) years of Patient Accounting or Coding experience is required.

Additional Qualifications for Patient Accounts Specialist III: Meets all requirements of Patient Accounts Specialist II in addition to the following:

  • Two (2) additional years of Patient Accounting or Coding experience is required.

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Health Care Financial Management or related field; OR equivalent combination of training, education and related experience; OR professional certification in Patient Accounting, Coding, Health Care Financial Management or related Health Care Revenue Cycle; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Patient Accounts Specialist II at SCF.

The Statewide Aviation Leasing Anchorage Office is recruiting for an Airport Leasing Specialist III vacancy to help us Keep Alaska Moving! The Airport Leasing Specialist III is a professional-level position for managing Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) lands at over 100 rural airports in compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and policies. The applicant must have experience in negotiating, writing, and administering contracts and working as a team. A solid understanding of aviation regulations is essential. A working knowledge of the State Revenue Accounting System (RAS) is preferred. Essential Responsibilities include: * Develop, negotiate, and administer legal agreements for State airport lands. * Handle and prioritize a large workload of multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Work independently to accurately resolve multi-faceted and challenging situations. * Effectively and clearly communicate with the public, both verbally and in written form, while maintaining excellent customer service. * Develop creative problem solving strategies to address unique situations within a framework of set policies and regulations. * Read, comprehend, and apply statutes, regulations, policies, and guidelines. * Provide training for Airport Leasing Specialists I's & II's. * Build consensus among diverse groups who may have conflicting goals and motivations. * Review subleases, assignments, security assignments and other documents to insure they are in compliance with the contract and guidelines. * Prepare bids for land and structures and evaluate submitted bid proposals. * Travel to remote airports to inspect airport lands and meet with lessees. * Enforce compliance with the legal contracts and laws, rules, and regulations. * Read and interpret land occupancy drawings, design drawings, surveys, as-builts, construction plans, and similar documents. Desired Skills, Strengths and Qualifications: * Managing state airport lands through legal contracts. * Writing complex documents, agreements and contracts for land use. * Administering, interpreting and enforcing legal contracts. * Reading and interpreting land occupancy drawings, design drawings, surveys, as-built drawings, construction plans, and similar. * Reading, comprehending, and applying statutes, regulations, policies and guidelines. * Effectively and clearly communicating with the public, both verbally and in written form. * Demonstrated success at developing consensus among multiple parties with divergent views and differing opinions while meeting the intent and requirements of existing regulations and policies. * Working independently, as well as part of a team, to produce accurate and compliant end results. * Ability to handle and prioritize a large workload while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking office. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Two years of journey professional level experience in the development, negotiation, and administration of leases and/or related legal agreements for airport property. The required work experience is met by service as an Airport Leasing Specialist II with the State of Alaska, or the equivalent with another employer. OR Three years of journey professional level experience in the development, negotiation, and administration of leases and/or related legal agreements for commercial or industrial property.
