Responsible for submitting Medical Assistance billing for outpatient chemotherapy and non chemotherapy infusions; providing assistance with special projects; and maintaining files as required by law. Also responsible for daily cash register reconciliation, credit card billing, remittance advice review; and for monitoring the prescription refill line in retail locations.
High School Diploma required.
2 years job related experience required.
Third Party billing and compliance experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to analyze data required.
Effective written and oral communication skills required.
Proficient math skills required.
Knowledge of Eclipsys, Cerner (Scheduling, Pharmnet, Retail) and Power Chart preferred.
Medicaid and Medicare Billing experience preferred.
Pharmacy billing experience preferred.
