Baptist Medical Center Nassau is currently hiring for a Full-Time Patient Access Supervisor to join our Registration Department at our Baptist Nassau Crossing Emergency Department location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Shift Details - Flexible hours to include day shift and night shift and weekends. Call will be required.

The Patient Access Supervisor will work with a medium size team to accurately register all patients and update demographic and insurance information for maintenance of accurate information. This position will be in the Emergency Department at Baptist Nassau Crossing. This position requires an individal who has strong written/verbal communication, technical literacy, time management skills and leadership skills.

As a Patient Access Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Registering patients accurately and efficiently

• Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas

• Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters

• Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)

• Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO

• Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members

• Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms

• Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

• *BLS CPR certification within 30 days of hire for ED positions.

• *CRCS and/or CHAA at least 1 within 90 days of hire.
