Position Summary:
The incumbent manages the planning, operations, budgets, financial resources and compliance for the Department. Responsible for financial outcomes, service levels, and performance dashboard targets of each of these units and works with PAC, CAU and department leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $90,500.00 Midpoint $130,100.00 Maximum $169,700.00
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Minimum 3 years' experience working in a medical setting performing registration/authorization/scheduling, referral center, or clinical functions
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Health Administration, Nursing or equivalent relevant field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience
Understanding of multiple insurance payor types, authorization processes, and registration requirements
Working knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes
Must demonstrate general understanding of medical terminology
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Experience in software programs such as MSOffice, TDS and Signature
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizational structure, policies, procedures, and forms
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Familiarity with billing in an academic medical center, with hospital-based clinics
