Work Schedule:

This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE position. You will be scheduled every other weekend (Sat. and Sun.), 8:00 AM-5:00 PM at West Towne Urgent Care and 2 days per week floating across West Region Clinics between the hours of 7:30 AM-5:00 PM. Holiday and On call hours is required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Patient Access Representative Ambulatory (Float) to:

  • Enter and verify demographic and insurance information, identify and collect patient financial obligations, and register or admit the patient.

  • Promote a positive patient and family experience, exhibit empathy, engage in compassionate collections, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

  • Cover a variety of clinic locations and hours as needed for operational needs.

Education:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance. Health Information Management or related field

Work Experience:

Minimum

  • One (1) year of experience in a customer service related field

Preferred

  • One (1) year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial or insurance related field
