Baptist Medical Center Clay is currently hiring for a Full-Time Nights Patient Access Rep II to join our Patient Access Services Department at our Baptist Clay location here in Jacksonville, FL area.

Shift details: Wednesday through Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in the ED

This department works in-medium sized small teams, 11-16 teammates. This position is in a fast-paced and in a hospital environment working directly with ED clinical staff and patients. This fosters medical field interests and primarily has scheduling in 12 hour shifts. The candidate will have customer service skills, be flexible and adaptable.Growth potential into coaching system, PASIII ,team lead, or supervisor.

As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for:

• Registering patients accurately and efficiently

• Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas

• Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters

• Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)

• Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO

• Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members

• Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms

• Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

• *BLS CPR certification within 30 days of hire for ED positions.
