As the Patient Access Director at Adventist Health Glendale, you will develop, deploy, and direct Admitting/Registration strategies and operations for the onsite patient access teams. Utilizing your expertise in the field you work with the Representatives as the first face patients interact with when they come in for care. As a leader you help drive high quality patient care and interactions ensuring successful outcomes while assuring compliance with Joint Commission, federal, state, and regulatory agencies related to patient access. This is accomplished as you provide operational and strategic leadership, manage budgets, and oversee department efficiency in meeting departmental goals, and implement plans for improvement as needed. You also interpret policies and procedures, recommend changes as appropriate, and provide relevant feedback to the Regional and/or Executive Leaders of patient access.
Opportunities present for associate coaching, training, and mentoring as you manage routine situations, direct work efforts, and results of the team. You will work with individuals to develop through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting, and development planning.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 7 years health care revenue cycle work experience
At least 5 years people management work experience
Must live in or around Glendale, California or be willing to relocate
Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
