POSITION SUMMARY:#Under the#supervision of a pathologist, independently performs or assists in accessioning dissection, description and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical and autopsy specimens.# Assists in supervision and training of entry level resident physicians in gross room pathology.
Master#s Degree of accredited Pathologist Assistant program. One (1) year relevant#experience.
License/Certification: Must be certified by American Society for Clinical Pathology or certification eligible and obtain certification within 6 months of hire. PA(ASCP) SKILLS:################ Professional knowledge of concepts, principles, practices and methodologies of processing routine and complex anatomic pathology specimens.
Good customer relations and communication skills. Good organizational and computer skills. Professional interaction with pathologists.
