Job Description Job Description LHH is seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal with 3 years of Patent experience for our client in Portland, OR. Location: Portland, OR – (Can work 2 days remote after the first 60 days in the office) Type:

Temporary (6 months) Regular office hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Pay range : $32/hr. $55/hr. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in delivering legal services to clients.

Handle U.S. and international patent applications, including filings and formal documents. Manage post-registration changes in patent properties. Maintain and update patent forms and reports.

Prepare and send client and foreign associate correspondence. Review and approve docketing data. Conduct research and summarize findings.

Handle new client file intakes and counsel transfers. Prepare cost estimates for foreign patent applications. Technical/Professional Knowledge:

Proficiency in computer software applications for patent prosecution. Familiarity with USPTO e-filing, e-PCT, PCT-Safe, and other online services. Experience with records management and docketing programs.

Competence in using the firm's timekeeping system. Education & Experience: High school degree required; college degree preferred.

Paralegal certificate and at least 3 years of relevant experience in patent prosecution. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
