A day as a Pastry Fruit Prep:

• Assist the pastry production team, chefs, and cooks with mixing pastry products

• Work in different stations such as fruit cutting station, economy packing station, juice station, basket station, assembling and plating food etc.

• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook

• Report problems with the food safety management system to management and the hygiene and food safety team

• Upkeep and maintain food safety

• Ensure adequacy of supplies in cooking stations

• Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards and follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef

• Assist kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks

• Support in training pastry helpers

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines

• Ability to accurately monitor wastage

• Flexible to work different shifts - days, nights, weekends, and holidays
